Blueprint Item Placement
« on: April 02, 2014, 01:04:16 AM »
Earlier today, I attempted to place a searchlight on our castle tower and on a wood rampart for the base walls.  It appears that the blueprint items can only be constructed on the ground surface.  Is this restriction in place due to technical/implementation issues?

If not.... While it makes sense that most of the blueprint items only be allowed to be placed on ground surface, I propose exemptions for the following items:

    - Search Light
    - Gun Emplacements
    - Fuel Pumps

I haven't looked through the entire blueprint list, but I feel these items, at a minimum, should not be restricted.  I feel there is a fair amount of utility and base options to be gained from being able to place these these items on elevated surfaces and believe it would be a welcome option for many base-owners.

Thoughts?

In the next base building update, everything will work like epoch's placement does.
